Quite the silver fox these days!

Richard Burgi has been cast in Body of Proof (see here and his character has the hots for Jeri Ryan.

Isn't this the third time he's been in a show with her?

I got last night's episode of Blue Bloods which he's in and I'll screencap when I get the chance.

I have Google alerts set up for things and people I'm interested in and one of them is for Richard Burgi. Generally they tell me about new roles he's in. This morning I got one that said

Richard Burgi, born on July 30, 1958 in Montclair, was an American actor. He died on August 9, 2012, at the age of 54.

I clicked on the link, feeling awful, and it was to a site that posts 'anticipated obituaries' so you can put a tribute to someone before they die. What the hell?

It was pre-coffee or I might have been quicker on the uptake, but it was not a nice start to the morning.

Sick fucks.

Not a clue what this is, but I just got a Google alert on it; one minute clip on TY, very fuzzy, of a guy named Sammy (I think) who's a car racer (I think) talking to Richard and his sons in a room.

Most odd.

Did four screencaps. Happy endings, yay.

Fourteen under the cut and not a suit in sight...well, maybe a birthday suit ;-)) God, those arm muscles...

Okay, I found this on Tumblr so I feel rewarded for being brave. Though you can't use html to add a link in your post which threw me.

RB is in/will be in a short film (12 mins long) called 'How They Smiled'. Anyone seen it/heard of it?

Bestselling New York novelist Henry Jenkins (Richard Burgi) is not a man of many words. He drinks his tea and enjoys his toast, and walks no more than four blocks to seventh street to Lizzy's coffee shop, where he sits three seats away from the door. Henry has finished the final draft in his penultimate novel in the "Blood Asp" series, which have won him multiple awards over the years. Lizzy Garland (Heather Snell), on the other hand, is a woman of many words. She keeps her customers coming back with her warm spirit and inviting conversation. Henry stays for the tea, and because it takes his mind off certain things.... But he has a plan, and a machine, which if things go well, he will get them back, and will remember how they smiled...

Lots of photos, some behind the scenes, here.

Here are three behind the cut.

More screencaps, but his character is 'flying back to LA' so that might be it for a while.

screencaps )
RB had two scenes and some deliciously snarky banter in the second. Hearing him say he'd rock my world was a nice moment ;-)

screencaps )
Good to see him smiling -- even if he's in a suit again!

Pix are here.

Article could be spoilery for the show I guess; I just scrolled down to the photos.
