I'm trying to remember what it used to be like and failing, lol. I don't read filtered, never figured that out, but I've heard a lot of my friends who do complaining that this version makes it harder.

And it is! The cats are very suspicious though. They look at me in it and want to jump up but they sense that way lies danger as they'd fall through the gaps.

Maybe if I put a blanket on it and someone lifted them up onto my lap...
