Kitties have mad skilz, for sure. Mine has disappeared on more than one occasion, freaking me out totally. She has always reappeared, casually, after several hours, but I'm going to have to give serious consideration to a pocket dimension of n-space . LOL Glad that she's found. I'm sure she'll come out when she's ready. Ahem.
