My cat Mimi used to get into closed drawers by going underneath the bottom drawer through the cut-out decorative part, then up the back. It's very disconcerting to open your underwear drawer and find your cat there. *g*

Oh, and something I learned from Ariel was, if you have a cat who loves to hide, never let her know you've found her hiding place. If you do, she'll probably find another one (which you'll then have to look for). But if you pretend not to know where she is, she can "hide" to her heart's content.
