Brr. With a side order of shiver. I just went on a nice, glamorous outing to the city dump to empty three oil cans of black, used oil into a drum. Glug, glug to you, too.
Then I got David's birthday pressie which I won't mention in case he sees this which isn't likely, but shhh anyway.
Yesterday I remembered way too late that MS was in 'Under the Mistletoe' with someone who looked familiar and I finally cottoned on today when someone mentioned it that it was Lt Cadman from SGA.
I caught the last 40 mins and really, that was enough. I could've picked up the plot from the last five... It was cheesy, over-schmooped to the point of making my teeth ache (and speaking of teeth there were some scarily big and white ones) but MS was cute and didn't stand out as being dire as much as some of the others. Way too much crying and final appearances that weren't, and creaky, implausible plot points. But I'm sure MS enjoyed the ice hockey.
We also got out The Breakup over the weekend which was depressingly spot-on with the arguments. I had this whole been there, done that thing going on as I once split up with someone and we stayed in our joint apartment for a while as neither of us would budge. Did not end well :-(
And speaking of the ending, I didn't get it. Really just didn't get it. Well, I did... but I didn't. Eh. A little flat, a little inconclusive, a little too... I don't know.
I need coffee. I'm still frozen.
