Anyone from GB around my age (49) remember this sweet? It was a stick, about 4-5 inches long, kind of a weird pale beige colour, fluted sides, and hard. It had a herbal taste to it. We just had a cinnamon flavored matcha chai mint that reminded me of them, though it must be 40 years since I ate one but David says I'm making them up. Tried googling got nowhere.

ETA Might be these:

ETA 2 No! Found!

Thanks, Mum!
To celebrate the birthday of Jay, who runs the Joyfully Jay review site, Loose Id asked her to pick 15 of her favorite LI titles. From now until Sunday night, all fifteen are on sale, and if you go to Jay's blog post here you can comment to be entered for a chance to win one of them.

And I'm delighted to see that a book by Alexa and me is on the list; The Square Peg. Jay says,

This is another one of those enemies to lovers stories (are you seeing a theme here, lol) with Ben as the staid accountant who inherits half a gay bar from his estranged father. The other half is owned by the sexy Shane who has no interest in sharing responsibility with Ben. But eventually their fighting turns into loving they are on their way to making it work together. I love how this story turns things around in that the smaller, somewhat blander Ben is the real leader of this pair and is a bit of a bossy top in bed. Two manage to turn the bar around and fall in love in the process. I really loved this story (and was reminded how much I like this writing pair). Great set up, great characters, and really enjoyable story.
