Teapot!

I picked my teapot cross stitch up from the framers last night. Totally wussed out on doing the fancy stitches (Hardanger requires you to CUT THREADS in the Aida. Yikes. ) but I think it still looks nice.

Thank you! The Aida was blank, but I worked from a pattern; huge and complex it was too, lol. It's a Teresa Wentzler design; love her work.

That's why I asked, the complexity of it--I would be afraid to tackle something like that that didn't have printed references on the Aida. I'm even more impressed! :)

I'm intrigued; never seen it with the design printed on the Aida. I think that would confuse me! The patterns I do tend to have about forty to fifty different symbols (TW goes in for blended threads with one thread of one color and another of another color to make up the two) so I don't think it'd be possible to print it.

I photocopy the pattern, blow it up, then pencil out as I go so I can see which bits I've done.
