Diving into the past

I love many authors now almost forgotten, one of whom is Agnes Sligh Turnbull. I discovered that as well as the novels I know so well, she wrote for US magazines in the 1920s and 1930s. Armed with that small shred, I went searching and discovered university digitalized copies of the magazines and I'm searching through them. It's hard to search a copied page for a word (or author) as it's a single image, so I'm scrolled for days but I have found my first story by her -- and seen some truly incredible ads.

David's parents arrive soon from the UK for a three week stay (haven't seen them in 2 and a half years because of Covid) so have been tidying and gardening like mad!

I love going down a rabbit hole like this! Only trouble is, I can't extract the pages with the story on and save them. Trying loads of methods but none quite work yet. The save/download interface is glitchy. But I can read them at least!
