Because I don't have time to vid but don't feel like writing today, I finished a banner I've been playing with all week.
This has got about a zillion layers to it...and I think most are invisible, heh. I suppose I could go through and delete some but I guess they all add a little bit.
I was going to have Jim in there, too and it started life as a fire and ice concept, then became Blair and his wolf for some reason.

The Sentinel Vid 'Stray Cat Strut'
I finished the vid I was working on; pure fun, this one, and there's a bit in it that makes me grin happily every time I see it (heck, even David thought it was funny and he views vids with a deep and abiding apathy).
It's The Stray Cats' song, Stray Cat Strut, which I saw them do live at the Student's Union bar way back when.
Summary: Blair's humping table legs and Jim's watching, bemused. Definitely not a slash vid except this is TS so if you wanted to read it as Blair trying to provoke Jim into pouncing on him, well, I'm not going to stop you...

Four Sentinel icons
I was watching a vid, caught a glimpse of Blair in a scene from Warriors and tracked it down, capped it, made icons. The enigma one is blurry because he was moving...
He is one seriously beautiful man. He sees Jim coming over when he's talking to his friend and his face just lights up.
And Jim's darkens because Blair's hugging her and we get the table leg comment.
He really, really doesn't like seeing Blair flirt and fall in love. Possessive? You bet :-)
And this one I did earlier, not to go all Blue Peter on you :-)

Two more icons and I'm done
My hands are tired and so is my brain. The fic's at 12,500 words now which makes me feel as if progress is being made even if I know I'm still only a third through the plot.
But I had another play with Photoshop and although it toyed with me and let me do the hitherto invisible save to web for one icon, it refused with the next and when I tried to type text no matter what letters I hit, I got a single line.
Contrary little so and so, isn't it?
These are all shareable btw; I keep forgetting to say that, but they are.
And it's possible I'm slightly obsessed with light and shadow on Blair's neck...

I was listening to ELO's 'Mr Blue Sky' and thought about how Blair's eyes are always getting compared to blue things. Like the sky. And then I thought about Cypher and David Lash and the lyrics
Mister Blue, you did it right
But soon comes Mister Night, creepin' over
Now his hand is on your shoulder
Never mind I'll remember you this
I'll remember you this way
just seemed to fit their dynamic so I vidded those 19 seconds.
(Yes, I know it's a weird thing to do and a bad habit to get into. I just miss vidding and don't have time to do one and this scratched the itch.)
