Numb3rs

With summer hiatus on us (though new Burn Notice and Lie to Me, yay) and after reading Legion's excellent Numb3rs/Sentinel crossover fic, Broth3rs, I decided to start watching the show. I've seen a couple of episodes from this season (and the last one, go figure) so I know the basics.

No pairing essays at all for the show at [community profile] ship_manifesto surprised me but I read the Crack Van overview. Not feeling compellingly drawn to a single pairing yet, after the first two episodes though I can totally see why people slash the brothers; it's easy :-)

I was also charmed by the trailer for the new Hawaii 5-0. David asked why and I said the two leads hated each other and had just had a fight and he rolled his eyes and said, I suppose you'll be slashing them after that.

He knows me so well. Not that I think the hating is all that genuine with those two, but there's nothing like a fight to get the juices flowing and I'm trying and failing to think of any OTP of mine, het or slash, that doesn't have a canonical spice of anger/violence/wall slam/torture in the mix.

God, I'm a sick, sick puppy :-)

So, any classic fic recs for Numb3rs? ::hopeful look:: Slash wanted, but any pairing is good.

I haven't watched the show, so I've only read one Numb3rs fic, but it was good enough to be a keeper. Just hearing the author was Dira Sudis was enough to make me click. Epic h/c.
Missing Persons. Don/Charlie. Torture, dub con.

I honestly don't have much time for tv with RL at the moment. NCIS is done for the season, so I'm pretty much not watching anything--which is good! I know what the boys look like the general premise of the show, so that was enough to read the story. :D

I've never actually seen any Numb3rs either, but it has come up in a couple of Supernatural and a Highlander crossovers I enjoyed. It's one of those series I always figured I get round to watching one day.

There's also a really fun vid from the Clucking Belles - Math Prof Rock Star - you have to scroll down the page a bit.

Before you read anything you absolutely have to read the epic Parallel Connections Over Symmetric Spaces.

This is my #1 of all time favourite stories of *any* fandom. My love for it is ennormous:)

DROP WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING AND READ IT RIGHT NOW. WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS COMMENT? GOOOOOOO!
