Yoga
Don't like the gray strip with teeny writing across the top of my LJ.
Why does LJ keep CHANGING things when there's no need? Ain't broke, don't fix it.
I went to yoga last night. This class has never had many people there, usually three or four of us, but a traffic accident that must have delayed people meant that it was just me. I asked the instructor, who's very nice, if she wanted to just forget it, but she said no, I'd made the effort to come and I was getting my session, plus she gets paid for giving the class anyway. She told me that a private yoga lesson is $75 (I pay around $10 a session), so look on it as a gift :-)
It was a little odd being the focus of attention; no way to slacken off when her gaze was elsewhere, heh, but she said at the end that I was flexible and strong which surprised me (pipe-stem arms, can't put my forehead on my knees, 47 now and a bit of a tummy I'm going to start working on when Mum goes home and we stop having Timmies donuts everyday, heh.)
I do love yoga and I wish I'd started earlier. It's an oasis in the week.
I'm totally blocked on fic. Just don't feel any urge to work on a WiP or start something new. I do have an idea for an original short I might work on before starting the new book with Alexa at the end of the month. I'm finding things a bit overwhelming in fandom. So much seems to be going on and it's almost hard work keeping up with it all. So very easy to just gradually drift into not doing stuff and lurking.
The hammock is up and soooo relaxing. I lay in it before yoga with a big cushion and a book and just drifted, staring at trees and sky. I'll take a photo next time it's up but it's put away now; dull, cool and thunderstorms and rain forecast.

Your hammock sounds wonderful. Lazy spring and summer days with a good book and a nice breeze is just this side of heaven. Hope you can put it back up soon and enjoy it some more.

Oh, LJ ::sigh::
And it is! The cats are very suspicious though. They look at me in it and want to jump up but they sense that way lies danger as they'd fall through the gaps.
Maybe if I put a blanket on it and someone lifted them up onto my lap...

I am so glad others enjoy this form of relaxation as well - as for Timmy's - never could stand their donuts, but I do love the occasional half black coffee and half hot chocolate beverage. guess thats a plus but I do miss my white wine now that summer has hit!
Namaste :)

Yes, chilled wine on the patio is the way to beat the heat ::g::
