I'm an idiot; there's a VCR in the basement. So I taped House down there (sound iffy but watchable) and watched/taped NCIS upstairs.
So I've seen them both, no waiting :-)
NCIS first.
Oooh, cunning plan of the new director's... but you should've told Gibbs. I mean. Really. Sheesh. Loved all the teaminess and the pure pitifulness of Tony's face. Boy, is he ever missing them. And the daddy!fic is going to pour in after that ;-)
As for the reveal, my first reaction was to snarl at her for being a disloyal turncoat murderer who fooled Gibbs into feeling sorry for her and cradling her when she cried :;grinds teeth:; but my second was to sigh. It's the Bones twist all over again, isn't it? A huge retcon that means all that commentary, all those episodes telling us how cute Palmer and Lee were is now tainted and spoiled because she was using him and he found out/sensed it.
Damn. Also, some confusion; the agent who died was the only clean one, but is the geeky one in it with Lee? Is that why he had the card or did she plant it?
House only really lit up in the brief scene when House and Wilson were together (though I loved the cafeteria scene where House tried, with a mixture of apathy and hope to find a replacement for Wilson). Those two are killing me. Ack. The angst! The way House is downright humbling himself. It's just so naked and raw I feel I shouldn't be watching. The PI was okay in small doses but I hope he doesn't become a regular.
Will someone tell me why Chase and Cameron still rate opening credits?
