Going behind the cut.

Okay, that first few minutes killed me ded. Just a flailing heap of whimper at the angst (and the hot; is it wrong of me to think Dean angry and slamming around and punching Sam (twice) is hot? Hmm. Who cares? Hothothot (sorry, Sam)).

The emotional intensity of Dean's feelings of betrayal and Sam's guilt were just off the scale, though. And, yes, sure, another anvilicious, ties into the boys current state, case, as they pointed out themselves, but God, so much grey in that man's story! Love that. It harked back to the werewolf woman in many ways. And he saved his wife by not revealing her pregnancy; he still felt love and a responsibility for her. That's not the act of a monster. Even if I hope to God she gets an abortion, except no one told her all of it, so she might not...

I'm going to have to watch that first few minutes again. Dean's line about if he didn't know who Sam was, he'd hunt him...ngghhh...

Ruby is problematic, isn't she? How far can we trust her? She's pushing Sam to use powers a demon gave him. He's doing good things with them, but... Love how complex and twisty-turny it is, but as Dean points out, if God is practically begging you to stop doing something, you can't really keep on thinking it's all kittens and roses.

This season is just rocking my fluffy bunny socks off.

(And I choked on my vodka and coke at the KY comment but kept the grin in as I was watching with my parents).
