See me flail like a flaily thing here. Guh. So many lines I should've written down (somehow the ones that stuck were 'erotically codependent' and 'I got laid' and 'Blow me, Castiel' because lo, I am shallow, but lots more going on than that of course.)

Except, really, bottom line, the relationship between the brothers IS the story, the whole story, world without end, amen and finally, they're reconciled, ready to kick ass fighting back to back.

I hope.

Poor, doomed Adam. Either Michael's in him, or he's back in heaven, but it was never going to end well for him.

Zachariah is dead and never did an angel deserve it more.

That fight between Castiel and Dean? Smoking hot. Angst by the bucketload and any time people are getting thrown up against alley walls, I'm so there.

Bobby's speech to Dean broke me a little.

The whole thing was just very, very entertaining and unashamedly emotional. No chick flick moments?

Oh, boys. The chick flicks can't hold a candle, not a freaking candle to you two when you're on an emotional roll.

(Show? They can hug, you know. Not all the time, but now and then...yes. They can.)

Thrown up against alley walls? I don't even watch this show -- don't really want to, since horror's not my thing -- but I wouldn't mind seeing that.

Okay! I clipped it for you. The guy in the trenchcoat is an angel and he thinks a lot of Dean, but he's turned his back on God for Dean's sake and now Dean's about to make that sacrifice pointless so he's furious with him. This is not how Castiel usually is and the fact that Dean doesn't fight back is telling.

He's an angel; he has powers. It just knocks them out. He did that and then magically transported Dean back to Bobby's house.

I FINALLY actually watched the ep, and I can tell my entire flist has gone Dean/Castiel and I'm the only Wincester left.

"Sam and Dean are psychotically, irrationally, erotically co-dependent on each other" and NO ONE mentioned it? People!

And yeah, LOADS of emotion!

Ah, it was tucked in with the Dean/Cas quotes, so I missed it. Everybody else on my flist was just "blow me!" and "got laid!"

Neurotically?! Uh, NOPE.

Even David, who scoffs at slashy subtext, heard it as 'erotically' and I've watched it several times since :;coughssevencoughs:: and yep, that's how I hear it too.
