So dim, so well-meaning

In a fit of enthusiasm and efficiency ( a terrible combination) I tried to combine various editions of my books at Goodreads after adding the latest one and succeeded, do not ask me how, in squishing seven books together under one title, making six of them disappear, in effect.

I sent off a support query with much groveling and apologizing and hope that it can be fixed.

I am so useless. Why didn't I just leave it alone? Why did I try to help? Why am I a librarian with those powers anyway? I'm sure I didn't ask to be and clearly I'm not fit to be.
