We didn't get NCIS on Monday in Canada; it's on tonight, probably because of Thanksgiving.
I did watch House. I gave up on it last season but I watched last week's because it came on when I was on the sofa with a cat on my knee, i.e. immobilised and I enjoyed it.
This week's had to be the slashiest House ever. I was seriously expecting house and Wilson to walk into each others arms at one point and start kissing passionately, there was so much UST crackling in the air. And I loved the idea of the show's patient this time.
Did not miss the team one bit.
Hawaii Five-0...case was reasonable, but oh God, please take Joe away and make him stop calling Steve 'son'! Why is he always THERE? Isn't he supposed to be training freaking SEALS? Go train them! Sheesh. He's taking over and I don't like it, ditto Max. Max wasn't there last season; two, maybe three episodes? and they managed fine. Now every case needs him so they're writing scripts to include him, and that's all backwards and wrong.
Take the scene with Joe and Max at the Pearl Harbor research place. Totally, utterly unnecessary. We had lingering shots of artifacts with violin music, a guy who seemed to me to be a real guy who worked there not an actor going by the awkward line delivery, and none of it was needed. We didn't need to see them go there, just be told that they had.
Chin is reduced to 'guy who worries over Kono'. Kono is reduced to 'woman who scowls and looks sulky'. Danny is...well, he's there in the background. Loved the cute chat with Grace, not so wild over the instant-drooling over the museum lady who looks a lot like Rachel.
Steve is marginalized by Joe and Joe replicates him too much to be anything but clutter. Chin dives; he could've gone down there with Steve.
Not grinding my teeth like last week but please trim it back to the main four!

The Joe and Kono storylines are bugging me to death. I demoted H50 to second viewing after Castle (well, I did really want to see the Ryan story). I love me some Terry O'Quinn but he's so redundant. I want my Chin Ho back.

Yeah, rarely been so up in the air, down in the dumps as fast with a show as H 5-0. They lost me at the finale of S1 and they haven't gotten me back. I'm still watching, but it's to pick holes, not love it.
Don't like that disenchanted, robbed feeling.
