Cutting so I don't spoil, though I only discuss aired episodes.
How come I now see Louis as the hero I'm rooting for, not Harvey and Mike?
The heroes are looking shoddy, Harvey and Jessica especially, scrambling to hold onto the power they took with less than squeaky-clean hands. Hardman creeps me out to the point where I can barely watch, but they're not much better.
Suddenly the most awesome thing about Jessica is her clothes. How could they do that to her?
Donna's got added vulnerability, yes, but she's lost her zing somehow. I did like her forgiveness of Louis and acceptance of his genuine sorrow at what he put her through though.
Did we really need Rachel to be the one to tell Mike the sad news? :;sigh:: And how the hell could he afford that place, plus his own, plus the full-time care his grandmother needed, on a bonus? Makes zero sense.
I don't want two-dimensional characters who never put a foot wrong, but there's a difference between morally ambiguous/interestingly flawed and manipulative and devious in a petty, self-serving way.
