Happy Thanksgiving!

I know from reading my friends list that for some of you this isn't going to be a very happy day. I'm thinking of you, but I'd do that whatever the day if you needed it ::hugs:: To those who are busy preparing meals for the multitudes, or those of you having a quiet day, hope it's a good one.

I just saw in a news report that Bush had annoyed people by going to Nevada and saying it wrong. I'm baffled:

Bush, in Las Vegas on Tuesday, repeatedly said Ne-vah-da. To properly pronounce Nevada, the middle syllable should rhyme with gamble.

Rhyme with 'gamble'? Is it a joke? How can it?

Odd

Today, and not for the first time, I went to my friends page only to see posts from someone not on my list. They used to be, but now they're not.

It doesn't matter terribly, but it's odd. It's also slightly worrying as it could be someone I'd taken off because they posted spoilers without tags and I'm a spoilerphobe. It isn't and I'm not but it could be ::broods::

I have too little to worry about, don't I? ::grin::
