Happy Birthday to three lovely people!
chase820; we don't know each other well, but I hope it's a
very happy day ::hugs::
thebratqueen I wish you a day crammed full of all you like
best and if I could deliver a naked Wesley I'd - well, if I could, I'd
probably keep him, but it's the thought that counts, yes? ;-) :;smooches you::
willshenilshe You deserve the sparkliest of days and I hope whatever you wish for you get ::hugs you::
This is a tiny Wes snippet for the birthday people; it's an old one but I never archived it, I don't think...
Wesley's sadness is Eeyore strength and Angel can almost see the tiny
cloud hovering over his dark head. Cordelia's hissed instructions
followed to the letter, he takes one, then two, steps forward and
gingerly slides the envelope onto the desk before stepping back quickly.
Wesley looks up. "What -?" but Angel has gone, fleeing back to polish
his axe, casting a ruefully apologetic glance at Cordelia whose eye
rolling looks set to give her a headache if it continues.
In the office, Wesley peels back the still-wet flap on the envelope and
eases out a birthday card. It's 10.30 at night and it's the first
he's had.
"To Wes, love from us all, Happy Birthday."
Cordelia and Gunn's names are dry; the ink that traces out Angel's name
is still shining.
Or maybe that's because his eyes aren't entirely dry.

And I woke up to a lovely surprise;
xmirax has very, very kindly made us a banner for the Secretary fic on my web page. It's just absolutely perfect and I keep going back to look at it and giving a little happy sigh.
It's here.
Thank you so much! ::many hugs::
It was a frantically busy weekend, taken up mostly by Eleanor's three ballet performances which meant much running up and down from here to the theatre and back. We watched two of the three and I have to say they looked absolutely adorable and very professional. So proud... ::sniffles::
In less cheerful news my computer keeps losing the connection to the net; doesn't seem to be the modem, the driver is the most recent version, but crash, crash, crash, literally every ten minutes. It's been doing it for ages, once or twice a day, which is bearable, but this isn't. It does seem to have been made worse since I started d/l a bittorrent of ASH in True Horror started on Friday and it's still at 70% because I'm doing it in dribs and drabs ::sigh:;
Anyone have suggestions as to what the problem might be? ETA; fixed, all fixed and it was easy and if that's all it took and I've been having this problem for months... broods....
