'Running Scared' Wesley/Dawn Part 14

Despite spending the morning reading Snowbound backwards to remind myself of the Giles/Ethan bits,(they snarked even better than Wesley and Dawn, bless them ;-)) I did get chance to finish another chapter of RS too.

Still bored...

I just counted up who I'd paired with someone most. ::studies sentence:: That didn't work, did it? My little black dress of pairings, I mean. And yep, still Spike.

I've paired him in a shippy way with 16 different characters (counting Angel and Angelus as two and including an OC).

Giles comes next with 12.

Xander and Wesley tie on 11.

There's probably more to say about those statistics but I think, boiled down to the essentials, it would be: they're my four favourite characters to write and I like them to have a good time. Often paired with each other. All at the same time? Once maybe, but not in a serious way.

Snowing. Still. Hasn't stopped since yesterday. Wish it would.

Ooh! One good event happened: I called England and spoke to lovesbitca, allegraslade and darling_effect who are having a wonderful time together. Lovely to hear them and do I ever wish I was there!

I browsed some of my earlier entries just for the fun of it. I had an Ethan/Giles no one commented on. Not one person. Including the person I wrote it for (ficathon fic).

That would crush me now. Crush me flat. I would quiver my lip and panic and wail. But back then I just soldiered on without minding too much. Who was that Jane? Where did she go?

And why the hell did I give it an NC17 rating for a simple blow job? ::is bemused::

ETA Mysterious! It has no comments but people remember commenting. I'm at a loss. Where did they go?
