Birthdays and snow and visitors

First, Happy Birthday to ferretgm; hope it's a full of happiness day! ::hugs::

It's also the birthday of wesleysgirl! I hope they're making a big fuss of the birthday girl at the con and that you have the most wonderful day possible because you deserve it :;cuddles you muchly::

I have been productive; the house is tidy and mum and dad's plane landed an hour ago so they should be here soon; last night I wrote a impulse 3,000 word fic for WG's birthday, beta read a No Limits episode, and fixed some older-style coding on some of my web page fics (I will get rid of all the coloured backgounds eventually, I swear it).

I'm aghast that the 60 F balmy spring weather of yesterday that I raved about to my parents is now a blizzard but bearing up as I'm sure it'll melt soon ::stares meaningfully at the whirling swirling white stuff::

I tried to do a 'My Character' list and stared blankly at the screen. I love reading them but I can't soundbite characters that way and make it insightful and witty and true. So, as no one wants to read, 'My Wesley is English and his first and last names both start with 'W', I shall spare you all.

I'm so considerate ;-)

'Bait and Switch' An 'Act of Nature' Story Giles/Xander

Today is wesleysgirl's birthday ::smooches her:: and last night as I was wandering around the house, all on my lonesome, a bunny came and bit me and I wrote her a fic.

This is set in the Act of Nature 'verse but I can't stress enough that unless WG and I both write it, it isn't canon. This is just for fun and for her birthday.

It's set in the summer after One Year On and Giles and Xander are back on Iona for a holiday.
