Disconcerting is...

Reading an old fic and trying to decide if Xander is sub or dom because you want to post it to xanderxtreme and having the door bell go in the middle of posting and it be two elderly ladies with bibles clutched in their hands who want to share a message of hope.

He's topping from the bottom but I think we're still talking sub... ::nibbles lip thoughtfully::

Earlier today I posted an old fic, 'Xander and the Vampire Zebra' to xanderxtreme. It's a small ficlet I wrote purely because I didn't have any fics with titles beginning with X,Y or Z. I tried to expand it into a larger fic at the time, lost interest, and that should've been that.

But it always nagged away at me that I had those 800 words of prequel and so, on an impulse I just finished it.

It's uneven, purposely so (yes, really :-)) because you're seeing a shift from normal to not as the day progresses. Three parts, all different, all slotting together but with bits missing here and there.

Total mess, maybe, but I don't care because it's finished.

And it's dark at the end, non-con, and not a very nice Giles really, just to warn you... (after I said just today to othercat that I don't do non-con and abuse ::rolls eyes at myself::)

I renamed it. Joss can pull off 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' but I'm not Joss, and keeping 'Xander and the Vampire Zebra' for a non-con dark fic takes more insouciance than I possess.
