Happy Birthday
caoilainn! You deserve the sparkliest of days and I hope you've had one :;much love::
I've been busy writing and book shopping and watching Stargate on TV. Hmm. Okay, I've been indulging myself shamelessly, let's be honest.
Last night's Supernatural, despite the glory that is Dean's back, left me a tad underwhelmed, and I can see from my f-list that I'm not alone. Oh, well. ::contemplates The Back some more::
I've finished reading Sharon Gosling's 'Stargate Atlantis: The Official Companion Season 1'.
Another 'hmm.' After The Watcher's Guides, the Stargate ones seem a tad on the thin and skimpy side somehow. There's a truly awful picture of Sheppard in the colour glossies that makes it look like he has something dripping out of his nose, but the worst is the proofing.
Throughout the book, so much so that it got to be all I was looking for, there's a lot of misuse of 'it's' where it should be 'its' ::grinds teeth:: That is just pathetic proofing, I'm sorry.
For example: "You know, silence is very powerful on it's own." ::cringes::
The Sheppard/Ford birthday fic for Byrne is getting its (see how easy it is?) final polish. Huge smooches to
2am_optimism for her beta. Do like this pairing... cute with a side order of angst.
Which describes most of my favourite pairings, now I come to think about it...
