We booked another hotel last night but the confirmation email didn't arrive so I'm going to have to write to them. It's in Kelowna. David said we could stay in Kelowna or Penticton and I went for Kelownaas it has a Stargate.
Actually, that is why I went for it. I'm so sad ::g:: It's on a lake with a Loch Ness Monster called the Ogopogo which is also a draw, of course.
We've decided we are going to Vancouver Island as we have 8 days in Vancouver so we'll spend half the time there. Which means we have three more hotels to book... and a car.
David flies out to the UK tomorrow, going up to Dundee, back Saturday.
I'm halfway through two Stargate fics (a Jack/Daniel PWP and the Eclipsed snippet for Minxy which is getting long and I might use in the next chapter instead in the Way Back When bit...). I'm a quarter through the first edit of the sequel to Ghost novel which WG has come up with a great title for; 'Giving up the Ghost'. Yay! A title! Every book should have one.
And I want to start a new vid ::nibbles nails in anguish but can't resist:: Jack/Teal'c. The only trouble is that the song I want to do it to is a popular one (Dire Straits/Brothers in Arms) and is that a problem? My vids don't need a strike against them before they start, but this one really works for me and I want it. I know there's at least one Stargate one to that song, possibly more. Ack. Still want it.
