Book location help needed

My friend murielle (who incidentally writes a nifty Giles) is looking for a particular book.

She's asking about it here and the relevant details are:

Within the the last decade I discovered a wonderful website (page? I never know for sure). It was called something like The Forty-Nine Steps to Enlightenment and it was written by a Rabbi. Now, it might also have been "the 47 pillars of Enlightenment" I'm not perfectly sure and I can't recall the Rabbi's name. What I remember about the site(page) was that there were forty-nine or forty-something essays on characteristics people need to develop in order to achieve wisdom.

I can't find it; anyone?

FYI

Did a tiny f-list trim, mostly people with dormant LJs or lines through them; totally not meant personally. Actually, sounds silly, I know, but what prompted it was that I couldn't see everyone's names on my profile page because presumably I'd hit a certain number and the names collapsed or got compressed or whatever.
