Happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] entrenous88! You're such a lovely person, so interesting and yes, sparkly, and it's my fervent hope today is as wonderful as you are.

Have a great birthday! :;much love::

And thank you to the person/people who nominated my Faith/Wes, 'Watching, Waiting, Anticipating' for Best Unfinished and the Faith/Wes, bit of Giles, 'Hollow Heart' co-written with the talented, inspiring Bit for Best Characterization, Best Plot, Best NC17 at the Sunnydale Memorial Awards; much appreciated.

And whee, 'Drawing Closer' got reviewed here by someone. They say they read my fic; if you're reading this, too; thank you for the kind words; sent me off to bed smiling last night.

Oh, and I've been meaning to pimp this; the Moonridge Auction is open for donations right now, with all proceeds going to the Moonridge Animal Park. I've donated a 5,000 word fic in the SG-1/SGA/Sentinel fandoms. Details of how to donate and such are all here. It's a good cause, supported by Garett Maggart and Richard Burgi and each year Sentinel fans raise a lot of money for the animals.

Just found out that it's the birthday of someone I've known a long time here on LJ and who always impresses me with her talent and level headedness.

Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] rahirah! I'm typing in the middle of a storm and hoping I don't lose power but I hope you've had a sunny day today ::much love::

We've all been squeeing over the otters holding hands and my family doubly so because I noticed it was taken at Vancouver Aquarium which was one of the places we visited when we were there in the summer. Sea otters are one of our favourite animals and it's the main reason we went in there. I decided to see if they were the same ones; knew the photos we'd taken weren't brilliant (they kept swimming :-)) but I found a 17 second clip David took on our digital camera. Not as cute as the hands one but still pretty darn adorable. You can just hear David saying 'Oh, they are cute' in a besotted tone of voice...
