Today is the birthday of [livejournal.com profile] calime33; hope it's a very special one indeed for you :;hugs::

And it's also the birthday of [livejournal.com profile] sallymn. I saw a few birthday greetings for you and was puzzled when you didn't show up on the birthday list and then realised that you weren't on my f-list, that's why, even though I'd have sworn you were :;facepalm::

A Sentinel fan and you like Heyer and Wodehouse, too; that is so cool. I've added you now and you might not see this but Happy Birthday! :;hugs::

(I am such a doofus sometimes...)

Off to get coffee with the girls as usual on Thursday. I will try to avoid the Temptation of the Timbits.

Huh

( May. 24th, 2007 04:05 pm)
I was reading the FW post about dear old FanLib and a poster who'd signed up said this:

When I looked at the story upload section, something disturbed me: they asked for your fanfiction.net email address and password so that they could load all of your stories from that site onto it.

God, what a bloody cheek! I can't imagine any of you reading this have signed up AND uploaded fic (I know some people are signing up just to safeguard their IDs) to be able to confirm this, but if true that's just, well, cheeky.

Darn, darn cheeky.

It's amazing me how protective I feel about ff.net after years of glaring at it for booting the NC17 fics and other sins.
