And a small grumble. When I picked up HP7 yesterday and started to read, I got a shock. Nothing to do with the story itself; it was the price.
$45 Canadian dollars.
Forty-five.
For a children's book.
Adult hardcovers are about $30-35, including whoppers like Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell, so that's a huge difference.
Of course, nowhere in the known universe is selling it at that; I got mine from the supermarket at $22.93, but still.

Happier note, I got to have lunch withautobadgirl yesterday, which was so nice. Looking forward to seeing much more of her now we're living so close and maybe even venturing into Toronto with her sometime to meet up with other LJers (going in there solo when I'm driving scares the life out of me, but with company, I'm okay).
