It's four weeks to the day that I posted the picture of David leaning against a seven foot pile of snow. That snow heap has now completely gone. We do still have a snow drift against one fence but most of it has melted and bulbs are up and grass, new and green, is poking up between the patio slabs.
Canada does this to me every year; it's so sudden, so instant. One day; blizzard; the next, like today, it's warm enough for T-shirts, over 60F, I have the heating off, the windows open, and soil under my nails as we've just done a quick tidy of the garden (four bin bags waiting at the curb).
