Today is also the birthday oflatetocomics and epistrophia and, although it might be over now ::counts on fingers::, my brother in Australia, pommyphil.

It's Eleanor's birthday party today (the actual day was Wednesday and we did family things then). We're going over to our friends in the country with the pool and the hot tub and borrowing their garden for a few hours and then bringing the girls back here for a sleepover. I baked a cake yesterday at E's request; chocolate with peppermint buttercream in the middle and chocolate frosting on top (like Aunty Christine used to make for us, Phil, remember?). Much licking of the bowl was had.
