I'm wishing Happy Birthday to [livejournal.com profile] fan_eunice today and no one deserves a happier, brighter, sparklier one.

I hope that all goes well, on this day and all the ones that follow.

::much love::

You're supposed to post a sentence or two from your WiPs.

I don't have many, but okay. I opened them at random and grabbed a sentence.

Wintergreen, the sequel to Wild Raspberries, an original novel of mine due to be published in September:

"Easy, boy," Tyler murmured, his hands making soothing passes over Dan's back. "We're not going anywhere today."

Point of Contact sequel which will see the light of day eventually, I swear:

The muted bustle of the shift change going on in the main office faded and all that Jim could hear was the sound of their lips meeting and the bitten-off gasp from Blair as Jim's hand cupped his ass. "Still a little tender, are we?" Jim whispered against Blair's hair, nuzzling through it to capture Blair's earlobe between his teeth.

Following by Example (Jim/Blair destined for the next My Mongoose)

"Do you think Simon's hot?" Blair asked casually, timing the question so precisely to match with the about to be swallowed mouthful of juice that was sloshing around Jim's teeth (clashing badly with the toothpaste) that Jim was already on guard before he finished speaking.

and finally, a long piece of Simon meta I'm working on for [livejournal.com profile] ts_allstars:

A measure of the trust that Jim has in his captain and friend is that during the show Simon is the only person to whom the Sentinel secret is revealed willingly.

***

And now I'd better get back to one of them, in between tidying as my mum arrives from the UK tomorrow for a three-week visit.

How to choose? Maybe go for a classic method.

Dip, dip, sky blue, which one...not you, as we used to sing in the playground.
