Just a reminder to the SPN, Eureka, and Richard Burgi fans, that Harper's island premieres tonight at 10.00 p.m.
From the interviews I've seen, the consensus seems to be cheesy, gory fun and entertaining if you don't expect a lot.

bhayling spotted a nice bit on TWOP; there's a forum for the show, but not sure if they're recapping it. However they are hosting a blog of one of the producers and he says each week he'll:
write about my experience from that particular episode on what it was like killing off that specific character, how we broke the news, reaction from cast, how we shot the scene, etc. Some good "behind the scenes" stuff here.
:;shrugs:: I can go for that. I don't need every show I watch to be quality, ground-breaking, cult-classic-in-the-making stuff.
In some ways, it's almost a relief as I don't have to worry about episode analysis and fics.
::pauses to read that last bit again::
Okay, that's a sign I'm feeling stressed out with deadlines and to-dos with a long weekend taking away four writing days...even if it does bring chocolate with it.
Though I did just pass 50,000 words on the novel (due in on May 1) which is good. I started writing it on Feb 1 and my goal was 1000 words every week day, with weekends optional, so I'm slightly ahead of schedule.
Before I get back to writing, I've finished S1 of Life on Mars (UK) and loved it; just about to start S2.
And I got a Dreamwidth account, though I won't be leaving LJ, and I'm janedavitt there, too. I like the feeling behind it and I don't want to lose touch with people who might move there and not be around on LJ any more.
The snow has almost gone; it does melt quickly this time of the year. I shouldn't really be surprised; we often get one last storm in April and I haul out the L M Montgomery quotation from one of the Anne books about snow in April being like a slap in the face when you expected a kiss.
So true.
