Tomorrow is a PD day for L and E is off as her school is closed for exams and hers are finished. David was going to have the afternoon off (Liverpool/Stoke game is on TV; big game!) so he decided to take the whole day. We can all have a nice lie-in and shovel as a family.
Except there's NO SNOW.
It's supposed to come late tonight, but it just doesn't look like snow right now somehow.
I daresay I'll wake up tomorrow to find it's arrived in a great flump, six or seven inches of it, but right now, nope, nada a flake.
We have food that can be eaten cold, firelogs, candles, books to read. We're prepared in case there's a power cut and we have four snow shovels and sledges in case it's a good day to go out and play in it (we have a big hill in the back yard to slide down). We're all set.
::waits::
I hope everyone else in the storm's path stays safe and warm and the same for Queensland which is about to get hit with a warmer but more destructive storm; take care up in Cairns,
