Invader Zim cupcakes

L's school is raising funds again and I need to send in cupcakes to sell for a dollar. Last time mine didn't all sell ::is shamed:; and cost a damn sight more to make than they made even if they HAD all sold (can't I just send in ten dollars and forget the baking? Please?).

I'm too English to use cake mix (everyone over here uses mix and I'm like all, what? No! EVIL! but of course the kids adore them and prefer them to my from scratch ones. Not that I can always blame them. That last batch of choc/mint were dry, I admit it).

Anyway, I was searching for simple, easy, Jane-proof ones and found IZ ones. Too, too cute:
