David comes home from England this afternoon, yay. He's been there on business since last Sunday but he did get to spend the weekend with his mum and see his brother, though his dad was away on a walking holiday in Slovenia, so they just missed each other.

nwhepcat who is staying three minutes walk away with another lovely LJer, autobadgirl. autobadgirl was at her sister's wedding, so we hung out and went to Chapters then out to a local pub for supper, then back home to watch the pilot of The Sentinel and the finale of Supernatural. We haven't seen each other for gosh, must be five years or more, so it was lovely to catch up and, as ever with a fellow LJer, natter nonstop about everything from serious subjects to trivial and back again. Hopefully all three of us can meet up again before she goes home.
Unless we've all melted because whew, hot again.
And I slept through for the second night in a row! No more lying there wide-eyed until four in the morning. I feel human again.
Thank you for all the consoling hugs and petting after my shameless whining yesterday. I was in a wibbly mood but all is back to normal now. ::loves::
