So we did Earth Hour, as always, lighting candles, playing cards around the table, sniffing haughtily as we looked down the street at houses all lit up.
Then it ended and I wandered back into the family room, not bothering with turning on the light because the candles in the kitchen gave off enough illumination.
Willow was under the coffee table (she's sitting on knees now!) and I said, 'Willow! Hi, baby', and bent down to stroke her.
She was my slippers.
