Secretary

I spent the weekend spring cleaning, not a room, but Secretary, the epic fic four of us wrote nine years ago. It began as a drabble-tag retell of the movie using Buffy characters and expanded like a marshmallow in the microwave to nearly 700,000 words of spanking, shopping, angst, and the love story of the most perfectly screwed up and right for each other couple in existence, Faith and Wes.

It was never beta read so without changing it, I tidied it up a tad though I could've spent a month playing with it.

I found myself in tears reading Wesley's letter to Faith.

I am not generous or kind; my eccentricities are not merely charming. Faith, I'm a frustrated, lonely sadist, twice your age.

I might just have to sit down and read the whole damn thing again.
