Wimps!

Lauren's school is five mins walk away but David usually drops her off on his way into work. Just settling down to write and she came back! School cancelled, not for snow, the roads are clear enough, but extreme cold. With windchill it's minus 35 C which is about the same in F.

Baffling. Once they're inside, it's not cold, for heaven's sake.

Humph. Laura Ingalls Wilder would have a fit.

ETA I am tongue in cheek here, btw. Cold like this is scary and deadly. Though it has warmed up a lot since this morning in readiness for the snow expected tomorrow...

Book Trailer for Life Under New Management

So exciting! I've never had a book trailer vid before.

It's for Life Under New Management, available in March/April from Totally Bound.

I uploaded it to FB so you can see it there if you'd like.

It's a new series, standalone stories set in different branches of the Totally Five Star luxury hotel chain. I set mine in Vancouver and hope to do another one later in the year. If it hasn't been claimed, maybe Toronto.
