I'm sitting here possessed of a need to read my E.E 'Doc' Smith books again after watching Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Just so like Spacehounds of IPC or the like... I enjoyed it (and nice to see an Angel alum ;-)) but I did find it hard to adjust to on a visual level. And I found the plotholes a leetle hard to take but I'm not very good at suspending disbelief. I'm also very, very sick of five minute countdowns that take fifteen minutes.
While I'm at it, why do bagels not get cut into two equal-sized pieces? Why a thick bit and a thin?
Out to shop... I'm not sure that we need anything but the shops are shut tomorrow and everyone knows that means you need to stock up. ::nods firmly::
