Thwarted in my Saturday attempt to buy 'To The Nines' with my ten dollar Chapters voucher (not out until today, ages, well, days after the UK; why?), I succumbed to temptation and bought a Buffy novel in hardback instead. David was aghast but as he spent over thirty dollars on beer later, didn't have a leg to stand on. It's true I wouldn't normally splash out on a Buffy novel in h/b; get most of them from library sales for a quarter actually, but this one looked good and I wanted a book dammit.

And it was worth it. I'd recommend it as being a cut above most of them. It's by Golden and Sniegoski and it's a Buffy/Angel crossover. Spike's a major character and yes, still treated like dirt which bugs me no end when it's Angel doing it (hello? There but for a gypsy curse go I?) but there are hints and moments that save it from being totally anti Spike...yes, I'm biased. So?

Anyway, it was an exciting plot, nice to see the Sunnydale crew reunite a few years after graduation and everyone got a bit of time onstage without it being too confusing.
Anyone else read it?
