Why did no one tell me about Ben and Jerry's Coffee Toffee Crunch? You selfish lot wanted to clutch it possessively to you, huh? Well I got me some! It cost as much as two litres for a bare bowl full but what the heck.
I also found out that the Firefly DVD is marked as sold out at Amazon, hotfooted it over to the Canadian Amazon and ordered it from there. It ships free, might take a little longer, might be cheaper if I shop around, but I've got it and I can relax. December...that's an awfully long time though :-(
David has spent the weekend replacing some wood on the bay window. Translates as; every piece he removed exposed more rot and now we're practically rebuilding it. Our friend lent us his table saw. They are SCARY. He's been feeding lengths of wood through and I have to grab them and guide them with this spinny, slashy thing making the most awful noise. I keep thinking fingers will fly, but so far it's been fur (not the cats, no) as tempers got short.
He read some of my short fics yesterday. Apparently my S/X spanking drabble was 'as dull as dishwater' and 'said nothing'. Remind me again why I love him?
Feel itchy and irritable as it's humid as a wet dishrag, I made my final visit to our local book shop which is shutting down after at least 6 years because of lack of business. Everything is 40% off but I'd rather it was still there than have the bargains ::sigh::
I'll be off to see POTC next weekend! If it's still on that is. Then I'll be able to join in all the discussions...that will probably have stopped by then as you all saw it weeks ago :;sniffle::
I should be writing and instead I'm doing this. Which is writing too...I want to do a book post...maybe tonight.
