And back aching so it's me for the sofa and a cider...but chapter nine of Preying is up to 1711 words and racing along. Probably no smut though; way too much expo and dialogue and Dremar the demon is a sweetie; so nice to meet him. He turned out to be very different than I expected. It's so much _fun_ when it's spilling out like this. Though I have a feeling when it's done and I read it from start to finish, I'm going to think it's uneven; goes from angsty to hot to silly and back again.
