I'm back from volunteering at school, L is off for a play day so I have, umm ::checks watch:: 4 hours alone.

Last night's Bones, which for some obscure reason I'm not taping, had me yelling out to David that I was so going to buy the DVDs. It didn't go down well, but I am. Not that they're out yet.
Temperance has really grown on me and I think it's because they've mellowed down her eccentricities a little; still there, but not so blatant.
This episode entertained me mostly because of the minor running gag of Zach and the 'take a hint' girl. And the subtext of the Jack/Zach interaction. So damn slashy; where's the fic? And the laugh aloud line from Booth about shooting Zach between the eyes if he asked him about sexual positions (it was the delivery).
Angela (who has more chemistry with Tempe than Booth, if you ask me) was so on the button with that advice though. Oh, mama, is that one of my kinks. The shy, eager, clueless young man who needs a helping hand? Gets me every time. Clever Angela ;-)
the ending worked too; Booth alone, choosing to be, but with the squints invading his space and giving him the key to the executive washroom, or whatever. Poor, intimidated, prickly Booth, as much an outsider as they are in many ways because he was a wolf and can't go back to being a sheep.
ETA: It is confusing my tiny brain watching MacGyver and having Narim/Weir's boyfriend Simon turn up yesterday as a counterfeiter and today, ::gulps:: General Hammond as a redneck, baseball hat-wearing bear poacher.
You're nice guys, dammit! ::weeps::
