And it was going to be an in depth look at how Heyer's 'Venetia' was all full of Buffy parallels, Damerel being a dead ringer for Spike, Edward for Riley, Venetia for a fanfic Buffy with some common bloody sense...but I'm too tired. It would have meant massive quoting and I just can't do it.
