Way back when, oh, twenty years ago, I was at school. Yes, really. There were four of us, an unholy alliance who weren't trouble makers, weren't rebels...but we went our own way and recked not the consequences. Heh. We were wild. Or maybe not. Probably not ::grin::
One of them I haven't heard from in 15 years, one I'm still in touch with and she's like a sister, one I just recently met up with again online.
Sam's an artist and it looks as if she's doing well, as some of her work features on cards at Waterstones and she's coming over from England to a New York art show in the winter ::proud smile:; In fact, of the four of us, the other three were all good at art; the close friend got a 2.1 degree in Fine Arts and I have pieces of her work all over the house; pottery and paintings. Lovely. I, on the other hand, was a complete failure at creative stuff and was the despair of the art teacher. I tried. The pencil wouldn't go where I wanted it to.
