Really quiet.

I'm enjoying it with part of me, another part is split, trying to look over there to where Eleanor's starting middle school and over there to where Lauren's starting Grade One.

And another part is thinking: It's 9.20; where the hell are the men to fix the floor, the ones I expected at 8.00 and when can I go out and buy the Supernatural DVDs?

Last night I took the plunge and set up a provisional publishing date for my novel (half-done) which means I have to finish it (another 50K needed) by November 15. It's the only way I would finish it; give me a deadline, or get a promise out of me and I'm 100% reliable; leave it up to me and I procrastinate, read fic and goof off.

As I've also got a fair bit of proofing/editing to do, that means I'm going to have to get down to it. I'm almost done a TS fic I've been working on and I have the last part of Eclipsed; that's it fic-wise and, sudden bunnies aside, it'll have to stay that way.

Okay. I can do this :;limbers up middle fingers::
