It's pouring down with rain after a beautiful day yesterday and I'm sitting with a completely empty kitchen waiting for the men to come and rip the floor up. Again.
And, sod's law and all that, when they come to fit the new one tomorrow, it's a half day so the kids will be home in all the chaos. Luckily we have a friend's house to escape to; well, they do. I'm staying here and overseeing every single board.
That gay rights meme is making me twitch every time I see it. Love the opening quotation, appreciate the good intentions of the people posting it -- but the manipulative wording is so very irritating and I can't really see the point of it, to be honest. Who reading my LJ has people on their f-list who don't believe in gay rights? Very few, I'd imagine.
Wish David was home; he's been away a week now; flies back Friday...miss him.
