Oh, wow.
I'm still all wide-eyed and full of eep. Or do I mean Epps?
Ack.
I really, seriously thought Cam was going to die. And I really, really thought this was the most graphic one yet because we saw bodies not just bones and eesh... heads. Eesh.
And he's dead. Thank God. I know Booth feels guilty and conflicted but no, just no. The world's a better place and he tried.
And did anyone but me think if that had been say, Hodgins hanging there, Bones might have reached him? She's way more pragmatic than Booth.
Very, very weird cutting into the skull without a mask on though; with the bone dust alone you'd have thought she'd have worn one.
And DB did a great job of showing his worry when he thought his son was in danger; not surprising as he's a parent, but it rang very true. And, God, that kid! Taking ice cream from a stranger! I want to wake my kids up and give them lecture one million about what we do when strangers come over to talk to you.
Although a much younger Lauren, when asked what to say when a stranger offered her candy said with a proud beam of having the Right Answer 'I say, thank you, Mommy!' so I suppose I can't talk...
