I knew this would happen ::grin::; I couldn't bear to give up being a paid member so now my LJ fairy time has run out, I've bought myself a year. I feel happier; not just because of my icons ::hugs them:: but because one of my ,hmm, does 'life influences' sound pretentious? Ah, well. One of them is Robert Heinlein and he was big on 'Pay it Forward' and TANSTAAFL (no such thing as a free lunch). Well, LJ is free but really, I was getting so much out of it that I would've started to feel guilty about not paying some of it back. I can't help on the technical side so paying for an account is all I can do.

A long post about Heinlein is something I want to do someday...might not be of interest to anyone but me, but he shaped my ideas so much (especially about sex) that it's sort of relevant to my fic and I'd like to set it out for my own amusement if nothing else.
