Head and Desk; my OTP

I'm starting to rate my days by the number of times I growl 'oh, for fuck's sake' at the screen, generally because I've done something dim.

Today, it was prompted by the discovery that the names of my two main characters, in a novella I'm writing, rhyme. They have the same four letter name, with a different first letter (a drabble to the first person who can guess their names) and it took me until now to notice.

Thank God for find and replace, that's all I can say.

ETA Some great suggestions, but spiralleds guessed it with Paul and Saul :-)
